We’ve been hearing rumors about the white Galaxy Note coming to Canada but we haven’t had enough sources to even make our own speculation. And just in case you are wondering when, it’s today April 4th. In a document acquired by MobileSyrup, it shows that Telus will be the first one to offer the white variant of Galaxy Note to Canadians. The company offers it for $199.99 only but there’s a 3-year contract being towed in together with the device. But for people who want to own one, it is being offered for $729.99 outright.
On the other hand, Bell Canada will start displaying Samsung Galaxy Note in white color on April 10th for the same price and contract. We do not know if the company offers bundle packages just to attract customers. The 6-day interval between Telus and Bell is a big thing because people always want to be among the very few who can lay their hands on the device. So, for the same price and commitment, would you dare wait for 6 days before getting a unit for yourself? Apparently, Bell Canada will be way behind Telus when it comes acquiring new customers. What matters for the company by that time is the loyalty of its previous customers or those who are about to end their contract.
Although with different color, the white Samsung Galaxy Note will still have the same specs as the original. You can expect a 1.4 GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB internal memory with complementary microSD slot. A 2 GB microSD card will also be a part of the package. White Galaxy Note will sport a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 200 x 1280 pixels distributed on a 5.3-inch display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Aside from the S Pen, GN also features a considerably huge battery with 2500 mAh that could power the device for 26 talk time hours. Other devices with 2500 mAh could only last 9 to 10 hours in talk time but Galaxy Note is specially and masterfully built to conserve battery.
Either you are Telus or Bell customer, you will be given an opportunity to own this great piece of technology. Rogers’ customers are waiting for the same opportunity but it seems they are unlucky as we haven’t heard any rumors about the carrier offering the white Samsung Galaxy Note.
