Aside from the international variant of the Nokia Lumia 900, the Finnish mobile maker has also unveiled its newest model of affordably-priced Windows Phone handset – the Nokia Lumia 610. That’s right! You can check out these devices at the 2012 MWC. Of course, you will have to fly to Barcelona to do so.
Anyways, the Nokia Lumia 610 is currently being dubbed by Nokia as the most affordable Windows powered Lumia smartphone. In fact, it will sell for a very decent price of 189 Euro. That’s more or less equivalent to 253 US Dollars. Still, you will need to be a bit more patient. You see, the phone has not yet been released in the market but it will probably be shipped sometime within the second quarter of 2012. You can even choose among its wide range of colors. There’s White, Cyan, Black and Magenta. The choice is all yours.
In terms of specs, the 12mm thin smartphone flaunts its 3.7 inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels of full screen resolution. You can also expect that the handset will be powered by Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 Mango that will, of course, go alongside with its 800MHz processor. In addition, the Lumia 610 will be fully equipped with 256MB of RAM and 8GB of storage. There’s no room for extra files though. The handset lacks the needed micro SD card slot for storage expansion. On the lighter side, you can rely on its 5 mega pixel rear facing camera with auto focus, geo-tagging and LED flash, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB 2.0, Stereo FM Radio with RDS, 3.5mm headphone jack, HTML5 Browser, 1300 mAh standard Li-ion battery, accelerometer, compass and A-GPS support.
But that’s not all. The Nokia Lumia 610 will also be pre-loaded with value-added features like Skydrive storage, Xbox Live Hub, Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive and Nokia Transport.
