The Facebook phone is so much hot on the internet from quite a long time and there are so many rumors about it, but finally it looks like that we are going to see a real Facebook phone soon a.k.a HTC Myst. In the past, there are also few other HTC sets like HTC Cha Cha and Salsa that were so-called Facebook phone. According to a new leak, HTC along with the AT&T is going to release an Android device for the Facebook lovers that provide with them an easy way to use the world’s most popular social network.
It looks like a mid range device from the specs as it will be coming with a 4.3-inch HD display having a resolution of 1280 x 720p. The HTC Myst will feature a 1.5GHz MSM8930 S4 Plus dual-core Snapdragon processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of built in storage space. However, you can’t increase the storage space as no microSD card slot is available, but still for a mid range device 16GB is quite a decent space.
The new Facebook phone will be equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera for the video calling. It will run on the Android Jellybean 4.1.2 firmware update, but later on the Jellybean 4.2 firmware update will also be available as an OTA update. Some other features of the HTC Myst are WLAN 802.11 a / b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, LTE, and HSDPA.
The HTC Myst will also come up with other built-in social networking apps like Google Plus, Instagram, Twitter, etc. in addition to the Facebook app. At the time there is no information about the price tag and availability date, but as per the rumor it may hit the market shelves in two to three months.
