It has already been confirmed that the LG Optimus True HD LTE will be released in Germany on a date not yet disclosed by the manufacturer. Earlier last month an information about LG Optimus LTE P936 has been leaked online and it was known that the device will be heading to Eutope. These devices however, seem to have the same specs and target audience considering European countries have started upgrading their communications infrastructures to be able to bring the fastest internet connection to customers.
LG Optimus True HD will be competing in the mid-range market and it seems like it is ahead of the competition because of its spectacular specs. While we haven’t know how much this device will be marketed in Germany, LG has always been fair to in putting price tags to its devices in a bid to attract more customers. The fact is, it is among the companies which are offering their powerful devices at a considerably affordable price. Thus, we can always expect that we will be getting most of the money we spend if ever we will get any device from LG.
Specs
This devices actually has similar specs as with LG Nitro HD and LG Spectrum. The dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz is the maximum benchmark of the company in building mid-range devices such this. Of course, the powerful central processing unit (CPU) will be complemented or paired with a 1 Gigabyte (GB) of random access memory (RAM) to ensure smoother experience and faster navigation. It sports a 4.5-inch liquid crystal display (LCD) featuring In-Panel Switching (IPS) technology bearing 720p to provide what the company calls as “True HD.” Surely enough, these specs will offer high-definition display that you will enjoy. After all, this is the key feature of this handset.
Apparently, LG is also targeting the LTE connectivity to take the lead in the smartphone market in Germany, although Samsung has already set its own pace in the country. Moreover, the carriers that may be in-charge in distributing this device are Vodafone, T-Mobile and O2 as they are the ones offering LTE services. Smaller operators will still take years before adapting the new technology. Nevertheless, if these three global leaders in telecommunications will be handling the distribution, then it is almost a success for LG. Perhaps, one of the turnoffs of this device is the fact that it will come operating on an Android 2.3 Gingerbread. There is no rumors how long after LG Optimus True HD LTE has been released before an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will be rolled out.
But overall, I believe this device will perform better in Germany considering the trend of technology in the country. Tech enthusiasts there are always fascinated by good display and powerful devices. If Optimus True HD LTE will be offered in a much affordable yet decent price, it will sell like wildfire there and eventually capture the market. That is if Samsung will not release counter-measure devices to retain the market.
